After jabbering on for years about what is and what is not a sport (c’mon, guys, you know you think of this everytime you see figure skating), I realized that some of my friends also had similar opinions and thoughts on this subject. I came to the conclusion, with the help of some of my buddies, that there was a need to freely exchange ideas about the criteria for calling an activity a sport, as well as a repository for these criteria that were generally accepted and agreed upon (think Man-Law).
